Compact design, less cables. The PW-120M is the only cableless mini-atx dc to dc power supply for the VIA platform. Compatible with an entire range of mini-itx motherboards such as VIA EPIA-M provides cool, silent power for your small mini-itx board from a single 12V power source.
Note : PW120 is not intended for beeing powered directly from a car battery. Instead you can take M3-ATX (same size) or M1-ATX, M2-ATX(-HV), M4-ATX.
Reason : Car battery gives out 9-18VDC, but PW120 can only handle 12V +-10% !

Nice power supply but needs stable voltage input, or you will need some kind of a stabilizer before connecing it to car's 12V power line... So, beware, its efficiency (200W max) is only available with stable input. It hasn't also any intergrated startup/shutdown controller and generally is not a smart power supply.. I prefer one of the M-series...
