Vor kurzem habe ich die Intel X25-M SSD von CarTFT.com geliefert bekommen. Der Versand war extrem schnell abgewickelt. Danke dafür!
Die SSD hat meine Erwartungen voll und ganz erfüllt. Das System mit Windows 7 startet nun super schnell und alle Programme, die auf der SSD liegen, sind auch in nullkommanichts gestartet. Jetzt hoffe ich nur noch auf den Firmware Patch von Intel, damit das Laufwerk auch bei hoher Speicherauslastung nichts von der Geschwindigkeit einbüßt. Dafür auch ein Stern weniger.
Bleibt nur zu hoffen, dass sich diese Technik bald durchsetzt und größere SSDs für weniger Geld zu haben sind.
Mein Fazit : kaufen!

An absolutely stunning device. Three things: it's fast, it's quiet and again it's fast. It beats every single classic HDD in terms of performance and it's the unquestionable leader among other SSDs (maybe except Intel E-series, which on the other hand is unreasonably expensive). One thing to remember, particularly in notebooks: it likes high temperatures (c.a. 50C). That's pretty high, especially for an SSD. One more thing about remarkable quality of CARTFT service. I got my order in less than 24hours in the other part of Europe. That commands respect.
Faster than any other SSD in the real world, because of its speed in writing 4k blocks (the same block size that the Windows' memory manager use to write in the pagefile). Another big point is the near-zero heat generation: while my ExpressCard SSD becomes quickly hot, this one runs cool even under load.
The version sold here is the Retail one, which comes in the blue box and with the mounting adaptor to fit it in a 3'5" desktop cage.
